Barony is a classic George Cobb design on Hilton Head Island with wide corridors, strategic bunkering and green complexes that reward a deft short game. The course favors placement over brute force, especially on approach where raised targets and gentle contours tighten scoring. Live oaks and palmettos frame views, but the routing stays fair for all abilities. It's a quintessential Lowcountry walk playable, handsome, and quietly demanding around the greens.

Old school Hilton Head. Friendly staff, nice facilities. Greens decent, tees a bit rough, cart paths really rough

Nice course. Terrible customer service all around..Poor layout to get a cart and bags to the car.

Fun course with lots of water and alligators as spectators. The fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. For those golfers with my skill set, you get to experience the joy of hitting out of pine straw and navigating the trees. Enjoying playing here when I come to town and do donate a few balls to the course.
