This course is truly a gem. The staff was super friendly, and the course itself is absolutely beautiful. On the day we played, we were fortunate enough to see an incredible array of wildlife; an alligator, ducks, a blue heron, and tons of turtles, all making for a memorable and scenic round. The tees were readily available for all skill levels, making it accessible whether you’re a beginner or an experienced golfer. The course was well-groomed and maintained beautifully, although when we arrived, it was cart path only due to some conditions. Despite that, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Heron Point definitely checked off the bucket list for us. We also tried to play Harbour Town, but due to renovations, it was closed. However, many locals and visitors say that the views here are just as stunning as Harbour Town’s and worth a visit in their own right

Great course. Was my second time playing it. Perfect weather. Saw tons of gators sunning themselves by the lagoons. Really love the courses in Seapines. Practice area is awesome. Great food at Frazier's after the round. Highly recommend this course and Atlantic Dunes.

First time playing Heron Pointe and really enjoyed it! We had played Harbor Town before, but since it was closed due to renovations, ended up playing here. Would definitely recommend playing - only thing I would change is having the greens roll a little quicker, but understand the heat makes it so they can’t cut the greens down quite as low. My guess is they’re rolling a 9-10 right now. Will definitely play again!

Course was immaculate. Greens were pure. Pace of play was fantastic. From checking in to the range, to the starter everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. Great experience with all staff. Now to the course, this course is challenging, makes you plan out shots a lot. Had me double guessing a lot but I liked that it made me think. Bunkers galore! However that’s what you expect on a Pete Dye Course. Saw lots of wildlife as well.

My experience at Heron Point was very enjoyable for the most part. As soon as I stepped out of my car the friendly staff helped my with my clubs. The course definitely show Pete Dye type of course tricky but not overall tough/enjoyable. The greens where the best I played on the HHI on the trip and were very true especially for that time of year 5 Stars for that alone. Played the course in October of 2024 and was surprised with the price tag of $300 I think it is over priced. The one thing that I was shocked was they didn't have GPS on the carts?? Also we constantly had to look out for the rangers driving around when you were about to hit very disruptive. Also the course only let you have 2 carts per tee time so I needed to share with a stranger. It worked out the guy was cool but that can be very awkward. With all that being said I would like to play Atlantic Dunes and Harbor town just for the experience. I will have to time my trip better for a better price on my next trip to HHI.
