I've played this course a handful of times and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! It's a wonderful resort vacation course. Probably one of the shortest courses in the entire area. Conditions have been good every time I've played here so kudos to the groundskeepers it's not like there's another course on the island. have to go at least to stono ferry or some of the private courses close by if you have the fortune to do so. for under 100 bucks. it's a great round of golf. if you're in the area I would highly recommend it. perhaps hit it on off season when it gets a little more reasonable.

Played here on a cool Friday afternoon and basically had the course to ourselves. What a great layout with stunning views of the ocean and beautiful water features. Course was in great shape and definitely has a good amount of scoring opportunities. Make sure you account for the wind, which can change drastically from one hole to the next. Several times it wasn’t a factor for a couple holes and then I would suddenly hit into a two-club wind on one of the less protected holes. And this is a good course to walk; it’s flat and has short transitions. Even though it’s shorter and a par 70 with no driving range (just a couple nets), this is a course you must play if in the area. It’s worth the drive from Charleston.

I played The Plantation Course a few years ago while on vacation in Edisto. Some great views on the course and while it isn't a long course there are some tight holes and lots of water in play, so it can be challenging. I had some accuracy issues that day and did not score well (lots of water...), but I am looking forward to playing it again this fall!
