Played here on a cool Friday afternoon and basically had the course to ourselves. What a great layout with stunning views of the ocean and beautiful water features. Course was in great shape and definitely has a good amount of scoring opportunities. Make sure you account for the wind, which can change drastically from one hole to the next. Several times it wasn’t a factor for a couple holes and then I would suddenly hit into a two-club wind on one of the less protected holes. And this is a good course to walk; it’s flat and has short transitions. Even though it’s shorter and a par 70 with no driving range (just a couple nets), this is a course you must play if in the area. It’s worth the drive from Charleston.

Absolutely best condition I have ever seen it. Superintendent Hill and his team have done a magnificent job. The people of Edisto are lucky to have such a magnificent course.

Played this course yesterday for the 2nd time. I was impressed with the conditions. Greens were impeccable, fairways are lush and for the most part the tee boxes were in good shape. Despite the 30mph winds I was able to salvage a decent score. All golf courses have their challenges and, this one is no exception. It may be a little on the shorter side but the hazards are still effective. Water hazards on almost every hole, some are hidden with most in plain sight. Waste areas are plentiful and the bunkers were in great shape. I've played several courses in the Charleston area in recent months and the conditions at the Plantation Course at Edisto are the best I've found so far. Really like playing this course and plan to return.

The course was in good shape. Great fairways, but fur greens (slow). The reason it didn't give it a higher rating was, no food, no mixed drinks, no cart girl. If im paying over a $100, these items must be available, hahaha.

The oceanfront finishing holes are absolutely stunning and make for a memorable end to the round. The greens were in great shape, rolling true and fast. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed yet professional. It’s the kind of course where you can truly unwind while still enjoying a competitive round. If you’re golfing in the area, this course is a must-play. I can’t wait to come back! ⛳🌊
