Description
Set on Daufuskie Island, Haig Point's Signature Course is unusual in that its original routing included 20 holes, providing two distinct routings—the Haig and the Calibogue—via alternate greens on two par-3s. Rees Jones first designed the course in 1986 and returned in 2007 to restore greens and extend the layout, raising the back-tee yardage to 7,380 and increasing the USGA rating. The course skirts marshes and Calibogue Sound with forced carries that intensify on the Calibogue routing. Practice amenities include a driving range and multiple practice greens. Sources: Haig Point (club site) and GolfLink/SCGolf for yardage, rating and slope.
