Such a lovely space and place. It's always a pleasure being at Forest Lake. We love the scenery and the entry and ballroom are divine for weddings. It's truly one of our favorite venues in Columbia!

The service here is incredible! We were planning to have our wedding reception here, but hurricane Helene had other plans. Anita and her team seamlessly pivoted and made it happen at the Palmetto Club. The food, drinks, and service was top notch!! I've been to a few other wedding receptions at FLC and they are always a blast!

A star for the nice facility. We have swam here before with no issues, but today this was the worst sportsmanship we have ever experienced in years of summer swim team! The FLC swimmers actively mocked and booed at our swimmers during warmups, lots of loud “boos” with thumbs down. These actions were mostly coming from little girls age 5-8! We were appalled. A couple of the little girls were nasty directly to my son several times when he was getting ready to be on the block, jeering in his face, and actually said, “We aren’t cheering for you, you little brat,” when he had told them what stroke was coming up next. Several of the little boys that age were rough housing in the grass and beating on each other before the meet started to the point it looked like bullying and not boys’ play. A couple young female coaches trying their best with so many kids to manage…. The parents were not present and seemed aloof… sitting up at the restaurant or on the far side with their drinks and not helping manage the swimmers before or during the meet. Those poor coaches! FLC parents need to do better.

Fantastic service, food was very good and a solid wine selection. The ambience was refined and classy! I recommend the strawberry creme brulee for dessert

Course was in nice shape. Greens were firm but puttable. Piña coladas and chicken wings were great
