Golf course was in good shape and player friendly. Enjoyed the course and the staff was nice. It was my first time there so I'm not sure if I misunderstood or not but if you are wanting a quick drink/snack on the turn they don't have any so take your own. Also the water on the course don't have cups so on a hot afternoon round it can be very tough.

Just moved into the area, was very happy with the course. Wide fairways = some bare spots, challenging greens - some smaller. Staff is good but can see how some would have attitude. Not a walk-able course (unfortunately). They do need water on the course - they do have at bathroom facilities but it didn't work. Play was very slow on the front and opened up as some groups dropped off. A ranger could have helped speed up the slow group. Price was decent as a resident.

Played the course May 1, 2026. The greens are unplayable - not sure what happened as my previous experiences were positive. Perhaps incompetence, perhaps bad luck, but when there’s practically no grass on the greens, that’s a problem. When I called to book, the deplorable state of the greens was not mentioned, it was also not noted in the pro shop or by the starter, however they took my full guest fees.

The athmosphere is very relaxing, the food is really good and ADAM is a very efficient and respectful bartender!

Well we recently moved to Sun City Hilton Head. Got to play Hidden Cypress for the first time. Very Disappointed. I've been playing golf for 50 years, and probably played 50 different golf courses. Coming from Minnesota, where we usually get winter kill on the greens there. The greens at Hidden Cypress were WORSE than any winter kill i've played on. Not 1 green was in somewhat of a good condition, the fairways were much better at all. Paid almost 200$ for 2 people.
