Lone Pine is a private-club style experience with a traditional, members-first cadence—leagues, events, and repeat play are part of the culture. The course tends to reward positioning and patience, especially when greens and surrounding areas demand smart misses to keep stress off your short game. It’s the type of layout that becomes more scoreable the more you play it, because familiarity reveals better angles and safer targets. Off the course, the club atmosphere usually feels social and established, making it more than a one-off tee time. Overall, it’s classic Washington-area club golf: structured, community-driven, and built for regular play.

Wonderful buffet and dessert table. Very nice bathrooms especially for a bridal party, the women's lounge etc.

I've had the pleasure of hosting my company's annual manager outing at Lone Pine two years in a row, and got a lot of compliments on the event. Tim was great to work with - very responsive and made it easy to coordinate the small details. Food was also delicious! Thank you to the team at Lone Pine for another great event!

We had our wedding here on 10/27 and Elijah (Eli) was fantastic, he actually took over as our coordinator maybe 3 weeks before our wedding day so I was nervous but he was on top of everything, answered all my questions made all my visions possible. The staff was so nice food was delicious our guests can’t stop talking about that and the bar staff kept everyone happy. 10/10 recommend
