I just experienced a great event at the Five Ponds Golf Club banquet venue, the food was tasty the buffet spread was well done the beef was prepared correctly the chicken was beautiful done with the mushrooms and the salmon 😋 just fell apart and melted in the mouth, the vegetables was not mushy or crunchy but it was prepared just right. The atmosphere was lovely even in the off season. Both event managers were great to deal with and Jamie was our evening manager she made the evening run smoothly which helped my award dinner run without a hitch. I am looking forward to book this venue again in the future. Thank you Marley and Jamie for the GREAT Service you both provided during this celebration. I scheduled a round of golf with an 11am tee time. I’ve never played a round of golf before- just been to driving ranges. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the players I was paired with were incredibly discouraging and LITERALLY told me to leave and get a refund. I would never return to this place! If Sundays are for avid golfers only, it would’ve been nice to be informed of that beforehand. Luckily the pro shop staff was very helpful and understanding and issued a refund without hesitation, but I felt embarrassed and discouraged from playing the game. I will not be back.

First off, people who live in community get first dibs which makes booking a tee time on a weekend quite difficult. Second off, my buddy and I booked a tee time for sunday morning for only us two.Unfprtunately I cancelled less than the 24hr period due to a family reason. They still charged my buddy and said "if it happens three times you can't play here"... The place isn't worth that kind of treatment. Plus I was the only one who cancelled and he still played... So in terms of play it doesn't change how many carts we would get, if anything it would make the group move faster. So needless to say, terrible business practices and you can't get in most of the time. Don't waste your time.

Always enjoy playing Five Ponds. Great condition for a public couse. I had an issue redeeming a gift certificate from last year. They said it was no good and had already been redeemed. 100% not true, I haven't been there in the past year and still had the certificate. At the end of the day, the manager made good and honored the certificate. I think they should certainly consider a new system/policy.

Layout is nice good to walk. Greens are fast but wish they would indicate when they've been punched. Biggest issue here can be pace of play. Had 6 holes take about 1 hour 35 minutes. With the ranger letting us know that the 4 some in front of the group ahead of us was within the pace of play when there was no one in front of them for a few holes minimum. Ended up skipping the 10th at the turn as they were slowing down and we didn't want to play a 5 hour round. Overall great course just wish they would be a little more strict about pace of play.
