One of my favorite places to Play on the east coast! It can sometimes be a bit wet compared to utah wheee I’m from which makes it impossible for me to hit woods but other than that a lovely place. The course is so nice it’s rarely busy for example on Labor Day we were able to motor . The people in the club house are very nice as well. Love this place also there’s a little beach here and a great bar

One of the best courses in the area. Spotless grounds with lush greens and great service. 5 stars all around. Great driving range as well.

My team and I designed an outdoor wedding and an indoor wedding reception here. The staff was very accommodating. The staff assisted with applying our tablecloths, charger, and napkins. We rented a house here after searching NY/NJ/PA for a good destination for a family reunion and we were disappointed by the “country club”. It’s a pretty workaday neighborhood (auto salvage and repair happening in many front yards, Harley club seems to ride every morning at 5:45am), which is fine but not something you’d seek out. The facilities are limited: lake isn’t swimmable, just a shallow wading area for toddlers; there are kayaks and paddleboards but that’s closed 2 days a week. The website claims an “Olympic sized” pool, in reality there’s one lane of 25yds, a small area with a diving board that doesn’t spring, a tiny slide (max maybe age 8), and shallow areas that get packed. The pool doesn’t open until 11 and not at all if it’s not a really sunny day (was closed 2 out of our 5 days). The gym has restricted hours and hidden fees that they admit are designed to discourage use by “Temporaries,” who are not allowed to golf at all, even if paying extra. I got challenged as a potential forger when the Sharpie on my wristband started fading, and yelled at to “get off club property” when trying to go for a run. After paying a $125 fee to be there for the week, we were left feeling that they haven’t really made up their mind about whether they want to permit short-term renters or not. We ended up joining the local gym in town and going to waterparks instead of using the “Club” amenities much. Fine place to stay in the Poconos, just not a destination where the amenities are worth paying for and thinking of it as a vacation destination in itself.
