This resort was recently bought by a new owner and he is working diligently to make necessary upgrades to the facility. The course is in beautiful shape and a nice challenge. The room simply need updating, but as I said the owner is working toward that. Having said all that the value is great for the time of year we go.

My dining partner and I recently had dinner at Cross Creek Resort Restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. We were seated in the Terrace on the Green dining room, which provided a beautiful setting for our meal. The room offered plenty of natural light and a relaxing view outside, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. It was a peaceful atmosphere that complemented the meal perfectly. I ordered the Tournadoes of Beef Tenderloin, and it was one of the best steak dishes I’ve had in quite some time. The beef was cooked exactly to my requested temperature, making every bite incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sauce paired beautifully with the steak without overpowering it. One detail that really stood out was the bed of seasoned croutons the tenderloin was served on. It added a unique texture and flavor that complemented the dish surprisingly well. Instead of the traditional French fries or a baked potato, I chose the pasta as my side, and I’m glad I did. It was cooked perfectly and made an excellent accompaniment to the tenderloin, creating a meal that felt complete and satisfying. Another pleasant surprise was that each entrée included access to the salad bar buffet. We both thought this was a wonderful, unexpected touch to the meal. The salad bar offered a nice variety of fresh options and was a great way to begin dinner before our entrées arrived. My dining partner ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Alfredo sauce was rich, creamy, and flavorful without being overly heavy. The shrimp tasted exceptionally fresh and were cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and not overdone. It was clear that attention was paid to the quality of every ingredient. To finish the evening, we shared a slice of blueberry pie. It arrived warm, tasted incredibly fresh, and was packed with blueberries in every bite. It was the perfect ending to an already excellent meal. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our visit. They also accepted my Erie Fine Dining Card with ease, making checkout quick and hassle-free. The only criticism my dining partner had was that the women’s restroom stalls were extremely small, even for an average-sized adult. While it didn’t take away from the quality of the meal, it was something we noticed during our visit. Overall, the inviting atmosphere, scenic views from the Terrace on the Green, outstanding food, and attentive service made for a memorable dining experience. Cross Creek Resort Restaurant exceeded our expectations, and I would gladly return. If you’re looking for an excellent steak dinner, delicious pasta, fresh desserts, and a relaxing atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit

Went for a class reunion on 8/22 . Got checked in the room it was musty smelling and bathroom was dirty went to the person that checked us in she did everything possible to find me another room also my friends asked to switch rooms to due to the musty smell .got rooms switched the custodian helped me we could not open this door finally he got it opened the lock was like stuck he told me to leave it a jar and not to worry because there are cameras there so i did it was left a jar the whole time I was attending the event upstairs the ..bathroom floor in the second room I was given was uswept and the tub was dirty ..I don't enjoy leaving a review as such but it was not a nice experience room wise ..the workers were nice and the food was good

I can't comment on the rooms or the golf course, we only went for dinner. Our waitress didn't introduce herself to me, which is seemingly more common lately, why is that? In her defense, I did enter after my significant other as I was tending to a toddler, so maybe she did before I came into the dining room. Manners and politeness are a huge bonus to a good dining experience, and this waitress just wasn't giving off friendly vibes. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye steak medium with fries, salad with ranch dressing and the menu said it comes with a warm roll and butter. The salad was brought in a timely manner and was delicious. The steak soon followed and through delicious and cooked to my liking,it lacked in presentation. A steak on a plate, not even a piece of parsley for garnish. If I'm being honest, I'm a little bitter because I really wanted onions and mushrooms with my steak but it was a $2 add on and I think that's utterly ridiculous. The fries were crispy and hot. The waitress did her job at a bare minimum level, and wasn't very personable. A couple times another waitress checked on us and talked to our granddaughter and was just really pleasant and delightful. I wish I knew names to give praise where it's due. Beautiful restaurant, great food... service depends on who you're assigned to I suppose. 5 stars for the food (non buffet)

Very nice course, well maintained, with moderate challenge. Carts were not out of date junk. Staff was cheerful, friendly and offered assistance without being asked. There was a paved path around the entire course making it easy to find the hole which was well marked. Bird houses in various locations were a welcome mat to the many birds. On the 15th hole there was a welcome clean bathroom. 1 thing I didn't appreciate was the maintenance man following me around half the course spraying insecticide. Honestly he went in front of me, beside me and behind me. I felt like with the wind I got as much on me as the grass. Actually picked my ball up out of the foam using my hand towel. Next 2 complaints are minor annoyances. Ball washer were empty wouldnt have cared but wanted the insecticide cleaned off. The building on the 15th hole was a welcome sight and advertised cold drinks with a restroom. Restroom was great disappointing that the cold beverage machine was unplugged. With that said I will return to this course. I was pleased with the overall experience and am anxious to get out on the fairway again soon. Wait I forgot the cost of 9 holes plus ride along with cart was reasonable at $25 also T time is required.
