Very solid public course with a very reasonable price for the weekend with a cart ($63)

We used pleasant valley for our wedding ceremony and reception. I worked with Danny and he went above and beyond for us. They have a few ceremony locations. We went with the gazebo area. We also worked with Danny and planned a sweet sixteen party for my daughter. She is amazing!

As much as I really enjoy this course and it's layout, I have to be honest and let people know what they're in for. First time out this year after hearing all spring about how they were revitalizing their tee boxes, so I was excited. Unfortunately, we knew what we were in for as soon as we stepped for on the first tee. The grass was 3" long and clearly no flattening/leveling of the tee boxes had taken place which is what I could only assume is what they had been working on all spring because the tee boxes here are notoriously crested, sloped, you name it... Anyway I wanted to start my round off with a nice 7i on a short Par 4 and that was not possible because even on a tee it was like hitting out of thick rough. Took a driver instead and that was next to impossible because the grass on the tee was literally grabbing the driver head as you came through your swing. This was a recurring issue on almost every tee box. I honestly don't know what work was done.

Great local course, hadn't heard about it but played today and had a blast. Challenging tee shots, but open fairways so you're never too penalized. Staff was super-friendly and helpful (tricky greens, so needed that advice) 10/10 will def be going back soon.

Nice enough course. Tee boxes deplorable but nothing a wee wacker trimming them wouldn't cure. Kitchen staff very courteous.
