Allegheny Country Club is one of Western Pennsylvania’s legacy private clubs—traditional, full-service, and built around a serious golf culture. The course experience emphasizes classic strategy: positioning off the tee, disciplined approaches, and managing greens in a way that rewards patience more than aggression. It’s a place where the details matter—pace, etiquette, and consistent conditioning—so the golf day tends to feel refined and structured. Off-course amenities and programming round out the “family club” profile, but golf remains a major centerpiece of the identity. Overall, Allegheny reads as timeless private-club golf: historic, competitive in spirit, and designed for members who value tradition and quality.

Absolutely stunning views, hospitable staff, and amazing service! Hope to return again soon. We were blessed to be there for their fireworks display and it may have been the best I've ever seen!

I attended this course for the Helen's Hero's golf outing and everyone, and everything was AMAZING! Aside from the amazing people running the event, the staff was amazingly friendly and beyond welcoming. The club pro was extremely professional, but also very friendly. The course, well the course, although tough, was very fair and obviously in immuculant condition. I also visited the pro shop after our round and bought a hat and a shirt and expected this to be the "ahh ha, gotcha " moment, but even the prices in the pro shop were extremely fair. I bought a Country club embroidered hat and shirt for right around $100! Unheard of for a country club. Seriously, if I could rate this course, staff, or my overall experience a 10 star out of 5, I would do it without hesitation. Thank you to everyone who made my first ever experience at this country club an incredible one! THANK YOU!
