The Club at Middlecreek feels like a destination-style private experience in a mountain setting—golf-forward, polished, and designed to be enjoyed as a full day, not just a tee time. The layout rewards disciplined decisions and strong approach control, especially when greens and surrounding areas punish short-sided misses. It’s the kind of course where momentum matters; play smart, accept pars on tougher stretches, and take advantage of the scoring holes when they appear. The atmosphere typically leans refined and member-centric, with the course serving as the center of the experience. Better players will appreciate the shot value and strategy, while mid-handicaps can still enjoy it by playing conservative targets. Overall, it’s elevated Somerset County golf: scenic, serious, and built for repeat play with purpose.

It's a nice 9 hole course that is fairly open. Great for all levels. We used to come through for a week every summer in the Laurel highlands and this place has definitely gotten a lot nicer over the years. This lady Jan used to run it but I think her family took over after she died.

Still my favorite to play locally. Love the layout. Challenging enough for golfers of all levels. Most holes don’t punish you severely for miss hit. Usually in great shape. Love to play here in the fall.

I'm giving them a four based on the service. They were enjoying folks and the course is good for beginners and younger golfers, but it isn't kept up all that well. It's a good value for the money.

Love this course. In great shape and well maintained. Great folks on all ends of the team there. They are friendly, and make sure that your golf experience is positive. Course can provide a challenge to all levels, but allows for all skill levels to play.
