Fox Chapel is one of Pennsylvania’s top private clubs—an elite, architecture-forward golf experience with a reputation for being both beautiful and demanding. The course rewards precise positioning and disciplined approach play, with shot values that punish careless misses and reward thoughtful strategy. It’s the kind of round where pars feel valuable and momentum matters; you’ll want to play to smart targets and avoid forcing low-percentage shots. The atmosphere matches the golf—refined, tradition-rich, and clearly oriented around serious players and competitive club culture. Familiarity tends to help, but even on a first play you can feel the design’s intent: placement, angles, and strong green complexes. Overall, it’s top-tier Pittsburgh private golf: strategic, prestigious, and built for high-level shot-making.

One of the most elegant and gorgeous venues in Pittsburgh! The fountain room has beautiful trees and a glass ceiling to allow for gorgeous natural light to flow inside. It's a beautiful space from every angle! Perfect for weddings!

We went to a family wedding there in August. The place is both stunning and beautiful. It helped as the weather was perfect, too. Still, the entire staff, especially the dinner and bar staff, were extremely friendly and professional. My highest rating for an absolutely amazing day …

By far one of the most beautiful, elegant locations for a wedding reception anywhere in the Pittsburgh area. I absolutely love photographing weddings here!
