Description

Valley View is a practical, local-focused golf spot built around exactly what most everyday golfers want: a quick course loop plus real practice infrastructure. The 9-hole layout is ideal for repetition—play it once to enjoy it, then come back and use it to sharpen course management and scoring. It’s especially useful for dialing in wedges, short irons, and putting, since those are the shots you’ll see most often in a compact nine. The overall vibe is straightforward and welcoming, making it a strong fit for beginners, juniors, and anyone trying to improve without the pressure of a big, formal facility. Overall, it’s “utility golf” done right—easy to access, easy to practice, and easy to play often.

Absolute terrible experience. Course was in terrible condition. Mini golf was in terrible shape. But most of all, Doug’s behavior was beyond unprofessional — it was outright disgusting. He was rude from the start, snapping at customers and acting like everyone was an inconvenience. The worst part was hearing him curse at kids who were just trying to enjoy golf. There is no excuse for an adult employee to speak to children that way. His attitude was miserable, hostile, and completely unacceptable for anyone working in customer service. If this is the standard the pro shop is okay with, they seriously need to reevaluate who they’re putting behind the counter.

This is primarily a note to my future self: Do Not fall for the trap of playing this course. I know it's tempting; a walkable 9 for under $30, conveniently located near Philly, perhaps some nostalgia from my teenage years. But you will not be playing 'golf'; you will stand on platforms of baren earth instead of tee boxes, your mis-hits will be lost to stagnant water running adjacent to sewage systems, and your good hits will either be knocked down by overgrown tree limbs or rolled along dirt (no fairways) into rocky, off-balance lies. This course is not for anyone who knows the difference between 3-wood and par 3, nor anyone olde enough to drive a golf cart. Let it be consumed by the ravine from which it once emerged. 'It is better to die an olde master than to live long enough to become a golf zombie.' Closing remarks: two stars because the tee shot on 8 is still memorable (downhill, directly at Route 3), and I cannot speak to the quality of the practice facility, which might be 'OK'. The photo is one of the actual, legitimate greens on the course (the par 5 fifth); it says everything about the shape of this course.

This place is in horrible condition, even after years the greens look horrible and there is more dirt than grass, the 9/18th holes green is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life, it it impossible to make a putt because of the giant slope that takes your ball right into the bunker, which is also horrible. If you are in the Delco area it is best you take your money to M golf or Paxon😡

I play at Valley View in the mornings before I go to work. The course is in fantastic shape. The greens are running true, there is sand in the traps. Brian, Carl, Sean, Patrick and Amanda are always so helpful and a genuine pleasure to deal with. Whether you have been playing golf for years or are looking to get started, this is the place to go! You can work on your swings at the range, practice chipping and putting on the practice green and then go hit the 9 hole course to see if what you practiced is working!

If you’re looking for a golf experience that’s relaxed, welcoming, and full of character, this is the place. I recently had the pleasure of playing here again, and Im always thoroughly impressed by what this small course has to offer. The layout is fun and manageable, making it perfect for golfers of all skill levels. My brother and I play here a lot and Sean is always a pleasure to deal with.
