Liberty Forge is an approachable public course that’s ideal for steady, repeatable golf—more “home track” than destination theater. The layout tends to reward smart targets and distance control, especially if you’re trying to keep big numbers off the card. It’s a strong fit for leagues and casual groups because the round typically flows in a predictable, comfortable rhythm. Better players can still challenge themselves by playing to tighter lines and focusing on wedge proximity and putting conversion. Overall, it’s practical Mechanicsburg-area golf: friendly pace, readable holes, and easy to put into a weekly routine.

Terrible place. The greens are a mess, holes in them 6-inches deep. They have a driving range too that is ridiculously priced and the golf balls are all cracked and waterlogged. Terrible ownership, obviously not a golfer. Practice thing too that is a mess.

I had a beautiful wedding at Liberty Fordge. Briana and her team did such a great job coordinating and decorating the night! I'm still getting compliments about my wedding from friends and family. If you're planning on having a winter wedding, the lodge gives you the most cozy atmosphere and was very affordable for our budget. Plus the outside scenery is breathtaking if you can stand the Pennsylvania cold. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Nice course for iron play.Great layout, only negative thing would be the amount of divots that golfers seem to forget how to repair.

Staff were not friendly. Could barely be bothered to check us in for our tee time. On Hole ten staff couldn’t wait for us to tee off to move his car. Course is in pretty good shape but none of the divots are filled in any of the tee boxes. 50% of the course are par 3’s. Will probably look elsewhere for my next round

Had a great experience at Liberty Forge Golf Course. The course was in excellent condition, the staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Perfect place to spend the day whether you’re a serious golfer or just out to have fun. Definitely one of the nicer local courses around.
