Great Cove is a scenic, rural public course in Fulton County that feels like a true getaway—open views, quiet surroundings, and a round that’s more relaxed than most high-traffic facilities. The course rewards steady tee shots and smart approach placement, especially when terrain and natural features influence where you can safely miss. It’s a great option for groups and golf trips passing through, because the pace and vibe tend to be friendly and welcoming. Better players can still enjoy the challenge by focusing on precision and taking advantage of the scoring holes. Overall, it’s classic countryside golf: peaceful, enjoyable, and perfect for an unrushed day.

Absolute a joy to play. Greens were in great shape. Beautiful views and some cool holes. Staff could not have been nicer. My adult son and I were camping nearby and showed up as a walk-on , on Friday early afternoon. Allowed my son to drive me and not play at no extra fee, which should be normal but as most people know is not. A little drive for me but I will be back. Just a wonderful time.

Super fun layout with very good and interesting greens. Conditions are only okay, but the layout makes up for that.

A nice layout and well maintained. Fairways can be dry and hard in the summer but the greens are usually very well maintained. The people at Great Cove are friendly and unpretentious.

Reserved a tee time two weeks before an annual family golf tournament, and was called by the clubhouse THE DAY BEFORE to say that they’re cancelling our tee times because they don’t have enough carts for us. Very unprofessional and a ruined weekend all due to incompetency and shortsightedness of this course. If you are trying to host a golf outing somewhere, DO NOT TRY GCGC, until management changes.
