Applebrook is modern private golf done right—walking-friendly, understated, and designed to “sit softly” on the land rather than overpower it. The design is built around interesting contours and thoughtful angles, so it rewards golfers who like to shape shots and play for position. It’s the kind of course where you can play it a dozen times and keep discovering better lines into greens and smarter places to miss. The overall vibe leans refined and golf-centric—more about the purity of the round than a loud resort atmosphere. Overall, Applebrook is premium Malvern-area golf: strategic, elegant, and built for serious repeat play.

I had the chance to play Applebrook Golf Club with a couple of members a while back, and I already knew it was one of the nicest and most challenging courses around. I ended up playing one of my best rounds—it was still tough, but I had an amazing time. I even nearly had my first hole-in-one on the front 9, but a sudden downpour stopped my ball just a couple inches short—so close! The course is in immaculate shape, and I’d be thrilled to get another chance to play it. Truly an incredible experience!

Different Cheesesteak #1267. Favorite March Cheesesteak Madness judges Dave and Phil reunite to grade Applebrook Golf Club’s cheesesteak. This is the best cheesesteak that will never win a cheesesteak contest. We got a cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms. It will never a cheesesteak contest because it comes on ciabatta bread. It is very good ciabatta bread, but ciabatta bread can’t win you a cheesesteak contest. This is a great example of great steak and great mushrooms bringing out the best in each other.
