Hartmann's golf course is a decent, middle of the road, fairly priced course. The fairways are well cared for but are very narrow and others from the next hole over are frequently walking onto your green to chase wayward balls.

Haven't eaten at the restaurant but the golf is fun. Opposing fairways on the front, the back 9 is better. Sad to hear this place is closing they had great home made hot pepper relish for the glizzies at the turn.

The Water Hole Restaurant at Hartman’s Summer resort is just a great comfortable happy place with yummy food. The atmosphere is rustic, but very warm and clean. The staff couldn’t be friendlier. They have a big bar for those who like to gather there but tables and booths with a beautiful view of their golf course and countryside for everyone else. The bartenders are outstanding. They have a full bar and will make just about any drink you want. They don’t need to throw shakers up into the air, they are just downright happy and friendly. All woman owned and woman managed. The food, which is homemade good, ranges from full dinners to sandwiches, soups and a variety of comfort food appetizers. Their desserts aren’t necessarily many, but they do include a pecan ball! You will not leave hungry! So if you want a pleasant, countryside atmosphere, stone fireplace and all, You will have an enjoyable evening at the Water Hole Restaurant! They have outstanding breakfasts too, Friday through Sunday!

Loved the course and the price ! Some long par 5's and par 4's with tree lines. Little water not bad at all very friendly staff ! I'll deff be back for 18 holes again thank you !

This course is relatively nice. Unfortunately, the holes are kind of repetitive and the fairways were too deep. I would play this course again but I wouldn't be scrambling to play this course again. The course needs a fair bit better maintenance on greens. It's a good course for first time players but don't expect anything exceptional. Update: I just recently replayed the course and the greens, roughs, and fairways were definitely in better shape. However, algae was present in the water hazards to crazy levels. It definitely looks like a lack of maintenance in certain aspects of the course is still prevalent.
