Twin Ponds is a classic, mid-length public course that stays memorable because water and green contours show up again and again throughout the round. It’s playable for a wide range of golfers, but it rewards smart choices—knowing when to lay back, when to challenge a carry, and how to keep approaches below the hole. The greens tend to be a defining feature, where undulation can turn a routine two-putt into a three-putt if you’re careless with speed. It’s the kind of course that’s fun for casual play, yet also sneaky-good for competitive rounds because mistakes are clearly punished. Overall, Twin Ponds offers a satisfying balance: approachable yardage with real scoring consequences and plenty of visual interest.

Been playing in a league here all summer and th course is always in excellent condition. It’s a challenging round but not overly so. Staff are always friendly and their hot dogs at the turn always hit the spot. Would definitely recommend for a fun outing!

Twin Ponds is an excellent golf course and one of the nicest courses in Berks County. It is impeccable. The fairways and greens are superb. It is a gem. 👍My only gripe is the woman at the counter. She was very rude. 👎

Love this place. Well taken care of. Hole difficulty ranges from hard to easy. Short and tight with elevation (I'm looking at you #10) to 550'ish yd wide open par 5. Wonderful mix. Green's are large but FAST. Their true, but a little over used. They have a true first cut of rough 👍🏻. The rest of the rough is on the short, thin side. Don't forget they are cash only

Great great little golf course in Gilbertsville, PA. I've been coming here at least once a year for the past 15 years. Course is always in superb shape and the employees at this family owned business are the best!! Can not recommend this course enough. Not the most challenging but one of the most fun days of golf you will have! Guaranteed!

Great family run course and always in great shape. The grounds crew does a great job with the fairways, greens, bunkers, and the driving range. The family is always friendly and helpful and we appreciate them allowing our school to play there. They bent over backwards for our local Boyertown HS girls team in regards to scheduling and we really appreciate it. The other customers are even there sometimes giving the team tips and cheering for them. What a great experience for all of us. Thanks Twin Ponds!
