Played today and can only say the Presidential course is in disgraceful condition considering a round costs $85. Virtually every tee box looked like the pictures. It’s not like we haven’t had rain so to let them get like this is appalling. The greens and fairways were also very patchy. Shame as where the greens were ok they rolled true. Also a lot isn’t enforced about divot repair and pitch mark repair on the greens. Very easy to fix your own pitch mark and 2 others as it seems a lot of players don’t bother. Half way house on the course not open and 2 water butts that I saw. Again, for $85 Hickory Valley should be doing a lot better but alas it seems a lost cause based on a lot of the other reviews recently (that I should have paid closer attention to!). Save your money and go elsewhere.

Played the Presidential Course on Friday 7/31/26. Cart path only, of course they don't share that until after you pay $65. Tee boxes were complete garbage. Tough to find any grass on some. Bunkers filled with water or totally un raked with water trenches cutting through them. Saw maybe two groundskeepers during the entire round. Virtually no attempt to get the course in playable conditions for overpaying customers. Shoddy greens with areas of missing grass. Uncut rough. 2 inch scum slick covering most water features. Trees untrimmed making several holes virtually unplayable due to branches hanging in direct line of any tee shot. I've played here several times, this time, I wouldn't have been surprised to see a going out of business sign. What a dump. I will definitely not be playing here again. EVER. Would have been better off punching 18 holes with flags in my backyard.

Played the presidential course and was pretty disappointed for the money. $85 and the tee boxes are dirt, some of the greens had patches of dirt, bunkers were pretty much dirt. Expected much better for what they charge. Other courses charge significantly less and are in much better shape. Won’t be back

Nice course to walk or ride. Some challenging greens but a fun time. I gave 5 stars alone as being female and having a bathroom to use at a great area, it intersects at the 2nd, 4th and 11th tee box. This is a big deal for me

I’m not one to leave poor reviews, but it was a shame to see the shape this course was in. Being charged $85 for a round here seems like a rip off. Most of the greens on the presidential side were dying and same with the tee boxes. There was also grass on the tee boxes that looks like it hasn’t been mowed in a week or two. Sad because the course was in much better condition just a few years ago.
