Blue Mountain is the kind of course that feels shaped by its setting—rolling terrain, changing lies, and holes where elevation can subtly change club selection and ball flight. It rewards disciplined targets, especially if wind or firmness shows up and makes “safe” misses more important than usual. The round is enjoyable for mixed groups because it can be played conservatively, but it still asks better players to be sharp on approach distance and short-game execution. It’s also the sort of course that becomes more scoreable with familiarity as you learn where the best angles and safest misses are. Overall, it’s a scenic, repeatable Fredericksburg-area option that plays best when you stay patient and in rhythm.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this golf course. Used a coupon from GroupGolfer. I did have to travel an hour from where I live but the golf course is where the golf course is. If I lived closer I'd definitely play this course 2-3 times a month. Usually I find a hole or two on each course I absolutely hate but there were none on this course. Prices were great as well. Probably will go in the rotation to play at least once a summer.

Decent course. Its short, wide open with challenging greens. Scenic with some water features. When we olayed ,the greens were in great shape.. fairways were dry and brown . Some cart paths were stined and bumpy. Great prices though with easy entry at lot and clubhouse.

This course is fun to play. Challenging greens, to say the least! You MUST keep the ball below the hole or you're in for a long day! The staff is friendly and the food is great. Highly recommend!

Great local course, that does what it can to keep up w the dry harsh summer. Cart paths are concrete which is a plus and most of the greens are well maintained! Clubhouse is always accommodating for last minute tee times! 9 holes under $30 is worth it!

Nice course, we'll maintained. A little expensive $38, walking in October is pretty steep even on a Sunday. The greens were challenging, some very challenging pin lications.
