Played both courses at Penn National back in May '26; what a treat! We started on Iron Forge with the very first tee time on a Sunday morning. The course itself was fairly wide open, but definitely had some screwy breaks on the greens! They were fair & forgiving. Very scenic views with elevation changes. The only complaint we had about the course was the numerous old cups that didn't seem to grow in. We counted 12 old cups within a 10 foot radius. They didn't affect our putting, but asthetically, it was quite an eyesore. After a bite to eat inside the grill (food was excellent!) and a few beers, we played Founders for our second 18 in the afternoon. Although this round lasted a little longer, especially for us being a two-some, which we expected for a Sunday afternoon, we still managed a good pace of under 5 hours. The Founders course was well maintained and could very much differentiate between fairways, first cuts, rough, etc. All in all, it was a great day out. My buddy and I would definitely do 36 here again in a heartbeat!

Very nice golf courses. Their event handler, Craig Sirbaugh, made it so easy. Cart attendants had our carts lined up every morning with bags on board. Special shout out to Bob and Gary for their assistance. Food is above average. Rooms could use an update but suitable for a men’s group. Easy to see why groups return every year.

The course is in great shape. Both courses are beautiful and fun. Can't be upset with either course you play on

I have only played golf there … but both courses are top notch…. And I was surprised by how accommodating they were for byob…. Even provided a cooler full of ice….( most places frown on outside booze)…. But be warned… if you’re a newer golfer and not very good yet …. Probably not gonna want to spend the money to play here …. However if you’re a seasoned golfer who has no problem staying in the fairways and hitting greens… you’ll probably love these courses lol….. give the golfing 5 stars…. FHM….

💜 Incredible! From the service to the beautiful course! Highly recommended to visit, stay, eat, drink, and play! We stayed Thursday-Friday - we played 54 holes between the two courses and loved every second of it!
