Sand Springs is a popular NEPA public course that offers a full, modern daily-fee round with strong presentation and a layout that rewards strategy. The course typically asks for disciplined driving because preferred landing zones matter and misses can bring trouble into play. It’s enjoyable for a wide range of golfers, but it can still challenge better players through hazards, green complexes, and the need to control approach distances. The facility is a common choice for outings and regular rounds because it balances playability with real shot value. Overall, it’s a standout Luzerne County public option: polished, strategic, and consistently respected.

We held our Real Estate Brokerage awards banquet here. The space was set up as specified with the color linens we chose, the buffet was set up beautifully, bar was ready to go as soon as we arrived and the staff was super attentive. It could not have gone more flawlessly.

We celebrated my parents 60th wedding anniversary at Sand Springs. We could not have been happier with our Event coordinator, Samantha. She was so extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Everything turned out gorgeous, the food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Thank you Sand Springs, and Sam! You helped make our event a huge success!

Had my daughter's bridal shower at this venue yesterday. The food was excellent. The servers were attentive and the space was perfect for the size of the event. Samantha who coordinated the event was so very helpful and made the experience stress free. Highly recommend.

I held a surprise Sweet 16 for my daughter on June 29th 2025. From start to finish Sam and her crew were AMAZING! So accommodating and allowed us to have fun with our Great Gatsby theme. The party was wonderful and because of Sam and her staff, it was better than I could have imagined! Thank you!!
