Summit Hills is a public 18-hole option that’s built for everyday golf—leagues, regular groups, and golfers who want a dependable place to play through the season. The course tends to reward consistent tee shots and smart course management, especially if you’re trying to avoid the kind of mistakes that lead to big numbers. It’s a comfortable, familiar-style layout where you can learn preferred lines quickly and then focus on execution round after round. The vibe is typically straightforward and local—show up, play, and enjoy a solid round without needing a lot of ceremony. Overall, Summit Hills is reliable NEPA public golf: practical, repeatable, and easy to make your “go-to” course.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. Place is an absolute disgrace! $30 dollars for 9 holes while the grass has never been cut once while I played there. You can shoot middle fair and lose your ball! how much fun is that? No signs on the holes to tell what hole you’re on, no cart paths. Unlike pine hills that only charges $22 with 100 times better conditions plus nicer people.

Arguably the worst groomed course in NEPA. I wouldn’t mind spending the amount it is to play 9 holes if the course had signs to signal what hole your on. How do I know if I’m on hole 6 or hole 15? This could be one of the nicest courses in the area but instead you get robbed by the management up at Summit Hills. Wish I can give it 0 stars as well.

Paid 30 dollars to play 9 holes… worst decision ever. Course looks like it hasn’t seen a lawnmower in a year & Every shot you have, your ball is most of the time unable to be located.

Still has some of the best views and very challenging holes. Only drawback is it's not in the best condition. However if you're looking for somewhere to go where you don't need a tee time and want to have some fun this is the place.

Could be one of the gems of the area. Just need to put more effort into basic course upkeep and overall quality of the rough/fairways. Layout is unique enjoyable, will just frustrate experienced golfers due to conditions.
