Carmichaels Golf Club has that true community-club feel—unpretentious, welcoming, and centered around local repeat play. The course tends to reward patience and placement, where staying in position off the tee sets up simpler approaches and fewer stressful recoveries. It’s a strong fit for mixed groups because it stays playable, but it can still punish impatience if you try to force aggressive lines from the wrong spots. Scoring usually comes down to wedges and putting, so it’s a great place to sharpen the scoring end of the bag. The vibe is typically relaxed and social, making it comfortable for league play and casual rounds. Overall, it’s dependable Greene County golf: simple, friendly, and easy to return to often.

Played this course 7-21-25. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Only negative was the condition of the cart paths. Once those are fixed this will be an excellent public golf course. Had a fantastic day!

My golf league had an outing there. Short course but alot of fun. The greens were beat up but should be better soon. The owners treated our group great!! Will def be back in the summer.

Definitely my personal favorite course anywhere within a 25-30 mile radius. Green fees with a cart cost less than a trip to eat at a fast food joint. Impressively well maintained, especially at the price point.
