Heidelberg is a Berks County private-club round that feels both scenic and demanding, with a course personality that leans “serious golf” without being unwelcoming. It’s the kind of place where the slope and green complexes can challenge even good players, so you’ll benefit from playing conservative lines and trusting disciplined targets. The overall facility supports a full practice-to-play day, and the course tends to reward those who prepare—especially on approach shots where controlling spin and trajectory matters. It also carries a classic country club feel off the course, making it as much about the social rhythm as the score. Overall, Heidelberg is a strong private test: pretty setting, real difficulty, and a polished club experience.

I had my wedding here on 4/10/22 and if we could give a 10 star review we definitely would! From our reservation about 10 months ago until the wedding day, everything was top notch! The wedding coordinators Maggie and Andrea were fantastic, answered all questions and made sure our day was special. The attention to detail during the service, bar, dinner, champagne toast, cake cutting and more was impeccable. Great employees, beautiful location and ceremony! Celebrate here!! ;)

I went to a wedding and reception there. The country club was very nice and all the staff were friendly and attentive! The food was good and the bathrooms were clean. My only negative was the walkway that led down to where the ceremony took place outside was very cracked and a bit difficult to walk on.

Food was okay. But the banquet hall and building are very dated and apparently there's been no recent renovations in a long time.

It was a wonderful place for a wedding with beautiful views, a lovely lodge and a hard working very dedicated staff that kept the drinks and food coming
