beautiful, well kept course. we were able to get a tee time quick and efficiently by calling in and we were able to take our time on the course. friendly employees, too. beginner friendly and the ladies' tees are nicely placed compared to some other courses

Beautiful course. Very hilly. We just happened to be in the area. Full 18 holes which can be rare in Pennsylvania.

Played on a cold April day and had most of the course to myself. Service in the pro shop was very friendly. Chippewa has a nice variety of hole lengths and shapes, with water coming into play only on 10 and 18. The condition of the course was good, but not great with some sogginess in low areas. This early in the year it is rare to find a course in perfect condition. The greens rolled well. Tee boxes were in fair shape with some chewed up areas. Fairways were also in very playable condition. The only conditioning complaint would be on approach areas in front of greens 10-20 yards out. Most of the these were chewed up and if you were short of the green and tried to hit a bump and run your ball would take weird bounces all over forcing you to fly it in the green which was problematic with so many front pin placements. I would suggest having more pins back based on this. A unique feature of this course are the grave stones near the 16th green. They actually make a good aim point on this short par 4. All in all Chippewa is a good course and look forward to playing it in better weather.

I always enjoy playing here. Fair prices, great staff. My regular group played yesterday and thought everything was in nice shape, other than the vandalized 1st green. That's scheduled to be back in play very soon.

Chippewa golf course is perfect for beginners and experienced golfers. It allows for a very relaxed experience. The staff is very cordial as well. The price is very reasonable - overall a great value.
