Amazing venue with and even better view! It is a perfect spot for anyone who is into nature stuff.

I wish you could give zero stars or worse. Worst resort, hotel experience in my life. Was here for a simple business meeting and will never be returning. When you hang yourself out as a high price / high quality resort you need to provide service like one. Everything from the minute I walked in until the minute I walked out was terrible, besides our dinner. Room very small and outdated. Hotel was run down. It’s not 1900s classic- it’s we didn’t invest - old carpets, freshly scratched floors, dusty and smelly. Staff not helpful and condescending. No bell service (they said they had but never followed thru). Valet took 15 minutes with no line to get my car at 7:30am. Warm beer on tap at the bar. Tried to return something my wife bought 3 weeks ago that didn’t fit with a receipt /in the packaging and they said refunds are 14 days only. No store credit. Manager said “there’s literally nothing I can do for you.” My room was so far from the lobby you could rent an uber to get to it. I think you actually have to try to provide service this bad. 10/10 do not recommend. Complete joke of a resort hotel. Go to Nemacolin if you want a PA Resort. Red Roof Inn is probably a better experience Don’t waste your money here.

Given on our last visit to The Greenbrier resort, in WV the food wasn't that good, let me start with complementing the chefs and other food service workers. Totally amazing food, all of it. The retrofitting of this 1700s-era resort is very well done. The grounds are immaculate. The trails across the road are overall in excellent repair, and well-marked, through beautiful woodland valleys, with an occasional view of the resort through the trees, and impressive limestone springs/resurgences. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Just wow! We were blown away by this place! The history, the beautiful location, the luxury, the amazing service, the wealth of activities, the fine restaurants, and just the overall ambience of this place is awesome. We absolutely loved every minute of the two days and two nights we spent here. While the room itself may have not been that grand, the history surrounding everything, especially the fact that so many presidents slept here was pretty cool. And just the grand architecture and beautiful grounds made it enjoyable just to wander around in our free time. There are also passed through the woods where you can go check out the springs that early visitors came to soak in. we wished we had brought our swimwear along, as the pool room was stunning! I also enjoyed a session of axe throwing and primitive archery, while my wife enjoyed some time at the spa. We are usually more budget-focused travelers, but were here as part of an industry event; it’s definitely not something we could afford going to on our own very much! One downfall was that the old building makes it somewhat inconvenient for wheelchairs, but the staff was very helpful and accommodating, and made it work.
