I moved to this area from Myrtle Beach 6 years ago. Played a lot of golf back home but this was my first round since moving. This is a very nice track. Well manicured all the way around. Nice course to play just get started playing again. Highly recommend

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at Shadow Lakes Country Club. We toured several venues before ultimately selecting Shadow Lakes. We chose this venue based on the ability to customize menu and timeline, the ease of communication with the day of coordinator, Olivia, the all inclusive nature of the venue, the beautiful atmosphere, and the phenomenal price. Olivia made the entire planning process a breeze from giving us a tour to designing our menu to setting up for the big day! She always responded promptly to emails and addressed any concerns I had. She also readily provided recommendations for vendors and arrangements when asked. She allowed us to stage a bunch of things in back rooms the week before so that we would not be rushed bringing everything in the day of. There was an event the night prior to our wedding so we could not set up the reception room ourselves but Olivia asked us exactly how we wanted it set up and she made sure it was done by her staff the night before our wedding. She had a backup plan for our ceremony ready to go incase of poor weather. And she allowed us to customize our menu to be exactly what we wanted and set up a special taste testing for us. I also loved that the venue had a bunch of decor and center pieces that you could use if you chose. And we were even allowed to use the golf carts to get us around the golf course for pictures! We couldn’t have had our wedding at a better venue and we are so thankful for everything Olivia did that was absolutely above and beyond! Thank you Shadow Lakes!!

We recently had our wedding at The Club at Shadow Lakes, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From start to finish, Olivia was absolutely fantastic to work with. She met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding, helped us plan every detail, and made the entire process feel organized and stress-free. She was always available to answer questions and ensured everything ran smoothly on our wedding day. The food was delicious and received so many compliments from our guests. The salmon, goat cheese pasta, and au gratin potatoes were especially amazing. We also appreciated being able to attend a tasting beforehand, which helped us feel confident in our menu selections. One of the things we loved most was the venue itself. The ballroom is beautiful, with large windows overlooking the golf course and fountain, creating a gorgeous backdrop throughout the event. The outdoor areas provided stunning photo opportunities, especially around the fountain and landscaped grounds. Another huge plus was the variety of décor options and color choices included with the venue. It saved us from having to purchase or rent decorations ourselves, while still allowing us to customize the space to match our vision. For everything that was included, we felt the venue was very reasonably priced and offered excellent value. We are so grateful to Olivia and the entire team at The Club at Shadow Lakes for helping make our wedding day so special. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful wedding location with exceptional service.

Wonderful venue. Olivia the event coordinator pays attention to detail and is very accommodating and available for clients and their vendors. Jimmy was also very nice with stopping in to make sure everything was going well. Entrance way is furnished with elegant tables, leading into a grand chandelier rotunda surrounded by a vip balcony. The ballroom has wonderful views of lakes with water features and rolling greens of the golf course. Parking was plentiful and conveniently located. The chef was fantastic, many compliments we were received on the salmon, pot roast, and bruschetta chicken. The potato a gratin was utterly phenomenal. The event chairs were comfortable and appeared very new, and the new chair covers looked fantastic. The uplighting with ability to select colors looked fantastic. The venue also has a newer sound system that sounded perfect in all rooms for prior to the entertainment vendor starting. There’s also a nice 2nd story balcony that is very large that overlooks a valley of lakes and rolling golf course greens. The wait staff was super friendly and accommodating. They have numerous rooms of varying sizes that fit all our needs. Would definitely use this location again.

Played the course here for the first time today. I was shocked how nice the course was for the price. While a lot of other muni's and affordable courses are burned out, the fairways here were lush (in late September!). Greens were great too. The course is tough - lots of trees and hills / slopes. The bunkers are in great shape but they're probably the main reason it's difficult (they are everywhere and make precision shots more important). My wife and I loved it and will make it one of our regulars.
