We ate there recently and it was a great experience. The restaurant also has a separate bar and even outdoor seating. Great view of the green and the food was great. I would even say the fish and chips were better than what you would get on the coastal restaurants. Staff was super friendly and were understanding about our obnoxious kids. They also had board games to keep them occupied. Overall great experience!!!!

The Mock at Alderbrock provides a rewarding golf experience with its fantastic layout and beautiful scenery. The course is well-maintained, offering smooth greens and well-kept fairways. The friendly staff and inviting clubhouse make it a great place to relax after a round. A must-visit for golfers seeking a memorable day on the course.

The Mook is a lovely course. I'm a novice golf-mom (my kids are learning to play but I don't play at all) and my husband enjoys the sport. We brought them out to play 9 holes while on vacation and we all really enjoyed the beautiful views and the friendly staff. With long summer days we were able to get a tee time after 4 pm so we wouldn't feel rushed for holding up serious golfers behind us (something I worry about every time we play back home, honestly). I've escorted my kids on some other golf courses which weren't nearly so pretty or in such good condition. I can't speak authoritatively about a lot of the golf experience, but we were all happy with the rental clubs (new but heavy so be prepared), the driving range bays (not muddy like some I've been on), the grass on the greens, and the overall experience. I was glad to have a cart since it would have been a bit long to walk with kids - and glad the cart had enough pep to get up the hills. I think they're re-building a historic course so some areas have new plant growth that's still coming in, but they're turning it into a real gem that's worth a visit on your coastal vacation.

Been playing Alderbrook for over 10 years. Now, The Mook, has been upgraded to the pearl of the coast. Impeccable dedication to producing a diamond in the rough! A must play when on the coast! See you soon!

My fiancé and I came here on our way out to the coast and couldn’t of had a better experience. Jackie was a great server/bartender who told us about the specials and we took advantage of that by having the cubano! So good and of course we had to try the fish n chips. I grew up on the water off the west coast and lived on the east coast. Hands down, one of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, crispy on the outside cooked perfectly on the inside (thanks Jesse)! We’re going to bring the kids back next time so we can enjoy there outside patio by the waterfall (yes there fish). Erik was super accommodating when we’re there. Come by, you won’t be disappointed and enjoy their staff here, they go the extra mile! We’ll be back soon!
