Private-club maintenance at a public price point! I turned in the second worst round of my life and somehow still had a blast!! Summerfield is a 9-hole executive course tucked inside a 55+ planned community on 203 acres in Tigard, open to the public when not reserved for residents. At $15 for non-residents it's one of the best deals in the Portland metro. Immaculate throughout: tree-lined fairways, 22 sand traps, water on holes 5 and 9, two practice putting greens. You'd never guess the price from the conditions. The community dates to 1973 and a redwood tree planted by the original landowners in 1948 still stands on the 5th tee. That kind of history shows in how the place is maintained. The course plays tighter than it looks, a genuine test, and the 55+ community atmosphere means a relaxed, respectful pace and genuinely welcoming company. I had gotten paired with two gentlemen. First one said "I'm Lee." Second said "I'm Harvey." I had no choice. I said "Oswald." The joke landed with a thud, but the course itself was a hit. One legitimate complaint: no driving range. You're stepping onto the first tee cold. Plan accordingly and maybe stop somewhere else for a warm-up bucket first. I'll be back.

One of the best conditioned courses I’ve played in the area. Wish they had Par 5’s. Would also be nice to have an app for tee times.

Beautiful course. Some great holes and scenic greens. Greens were running fast but true. No par fives, no longer holes, but some narrow fairways and water and sand obstacles. Nice challenging 9 hole course

This is a well maintained executive course nestled in an established development. It has a few water hazards and enough variety to keep it interesting.

My favorite quick play course. Super easy to walk and always maintained very well.
