I play this course a few times a year. The course was neglected for a few years and now it's under New Management. It's gonna take a couple years to Get it to it's full potential, but Danny the new GM will get it done. The Vegetation that has been creeping up on the boundary holes has been Cut back the greens were in great shape yesterday 7/11/26 and the Pace was perfect no waiting no one pushing up on our group. The Pro shop has lots of inventory inventory to choose from And The Restaurant Magnolia on the green is Excellent even if your not golfing.

Salem Golf Club is a blast. It is not long, but you better keep it between the trees on this parkland style layout. All the par fives are reachable for bombers. The practice facility at SGC is outstanding. The pace of play on a Saturday was excellent. We walked 18 holes in four hours. This 100 year old layout is a must-see for Oregon golfers. Beautiful old trees lining the course and the fairways and greens are in good condition. Lovely atmosphere, cosy old country feel with beautiful view of the green well landscaped golf course. Excellant breakfast but beware the country gravy is a mite spicy The salad was delicious and the desserts outstanding

Super rad course! Don’t expect much customer service from the kids that work there. Borderline rude towards several people the day I was there. Other than that it’s a great place

Strangely enough, the more I indulged, the more nuances I could uncover – a testament to the dish’s exquisite depth... I had to fettuccine alfredo with salmon.

Very disappointing came to the driving range on a Friday night on May 1. It was 70° at 6:20. The old guy in the pro shop basically wanted to leave so bad. He said we are closed yet the open sign was still on and the signs in there said they were open till seven, and Google said they were up until 630 but he said there was a last call at 6:15 so we were five minutes late, but he said that wasn’t actually Time change until sevenuntil next week was there with my son who’s 10 years old we don’t get to play golf that much. He just wanted to hit a few balls. There’s lots of people hitting balls he could’ve easily gotten a bucket of balls for us to hit, but instead decided to just be completely rude and basically dis everything we wanted to do very bad service.
