This is a Central Oregon Golf Gem. The course is very well maintained. Grass is smashingly green, fairways play brilliantly, and greens are impeccable. 4 sets of tees allows long ballers and old farts to enjoy a round of golf. And it is called Meadow Lakes because it has many, many lakes! Bring extra balls if you tend to slice! Green to Tee walks are short. Very walkable, but carts and electric bikes are available for rent. Plan on a rounds in the 3.75 to 4.5 hour range. Great pro shop, restaurant and 19th green! The folks staffing the course are first class and not snobbish - a breath of fresh air compared to other Central Oregon tracks. And you know what I mean. Best of all, the price is very affordable. Make the short drive, enjoy Prineville hospitality and a great opportunity to shoot in the 80's.. Lots of parking, too!

This is a real gem of a course that is so reasonably priced it makes me want to move to Prineville for the golf. Lovely green fairways lead to fast but fair greens that were in great shape. The whole course is very well maintained and all the facilities were in top shape. Nice golf carts as well as the option of electric scooter for rent. The pro shop is well stocked and it has a nice little restaurant as well. Lots of water on this course but it’s not too difficult if you hit the fairway on your drives. There were deer grazing on the 18th hole and plenty birds in the ponds and waterways. The price was very reasonable for such a great course.

Meadow lakes is a city of prineville golf course and it is a great facility. The course is in fabular shape. Greens are challenging. Fairways have a lot of water to avoid. Not always possible either. They have a nice practice area for putting and a driving range with grass tees. We played nine holes and then ate at Ron's restaurant which is part of the facility. Food was excellent. Service was great and then finished off with the back nine. Of course they ran to all gear you might need and carts and pull carts. The course is mostly flat so if you wanted to walk it it wouldn't be too challenging.

It was a ny place to have breakfast. The food was great.. I just wished the service was better. I sat there with no refills on my drink or the waitress asking if I needed anything. The worst service ever. If you want the same service you should stop by. I won't be here again.

Without question, the best winter greens in Central Oregon...and likely a top 5 greens public course in the state. Whoever is doing the winter greenskeeping out there needs a big fat raise before one of the private clubs steals them. The only minor issue is during good weather, the pace of play is very slow. Be aware if you are a low handicapper. But, if that doesn't bother you and your looking to play a leisurely afternoon round of golf on a really fun, easy to walk course...this is the place to go
