We love this little family owned (same family since 1961) golf course and coffee shop. It’s never too busy; we’ve always been able to play with little wait and no tee time. It’s not terribly long and only 9 holes, but it definitely offers some challenges without providing too much frustration. The true gem we discovered on our last visit though was their coffee shop. Our waitress was one of the family members and suggested the burger, which patrons have told her is the best in town. After having it, I’m in agreement. I added 4 thick slices of bacon to it, which our waitress also recommended, calling them Steakon. 3 of us had a very filling lunch for $59 plus tip. We’ll be back for golf and food. Note: cafe is closed Nov to March.

This is a fun place to golf. The staff is friendly and helpful and makes you feel like a member even if you’re not. Frank in the pro shop is great. He shared the history of the course with me and gave me so tips on how to play certain holes. It’s December 1st and the course is still nice and green. It offers challenges for every golfer but is new golfer friendly. They do offer both push carts and driving carts, I recommend walking. If in the Newport, OR area you have to stop in and play a round.

Went to the coast over the weekend for some R & R and visited this course. As the other reviews stated it’s a great course and I can’t say more about the staff. Frank was very pleasant and helpful and suggested we take our dog with us. The weather was beautiful and we had a fantastic time. We will go back for sure!!

Places to play in the Central Oregon coast. The layout is pretty straightforward. East-West fairways with some change at the back two holes. Trees line most all of the fairways so you have to be fairly straightforward and accurate. Greens are good to it and tend to be pretty easy to read. There is a practice area for putting and for chipping. The driving range is limited to irons only as it is not a long range by any means. Nice little restaurant and bar. The pro shop is well equipped and you can rent carts and equipment as needed.

This is a great course for anyone looking for a fun afternoon of golf. Staff is super friendly. Course in very good shape.
