We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort. The setting is beautiful and our room was well appointed and clean. However what set it apart was the staff. They are all so friendly, attentive and helpful and we had wonderful service at the bar and the restaurant. We also really enjoyed our meals each evening, very tasty, well presented and good value. Overall a great introduction to Oregon for us.

Overall... a decent stay in a very nice location however: this hotel is showing signs of wear and tear, and is very dated. The pictures they post don't show this accurately. Although dated though, the rooms were clean and functional etc - although we received no housekeeping during our stay. There is one restaurant and bar on site and this is let down by very mixed/inconsistent/some poor service depending on who is serving which is disappointing. For example: ordered a drink off the menu and got something completely different - didn't realize until I ordered a second that the first was completely wrong. Servers would change mid-shift so you were almost left alone with no service for periods of time. Food was ok-to-good but but not exceptional for the $$. There was also a power cut one night, during dinner, and depending on the server - some would let you order more drinks; others would not. Some people were comped drinks, others were not. Totally inconsistent service. This is a family friendly resort so there are a lot of kids in the pool area - there is an adult only swim time though which is good. Pool area is also very dated though adequate. Grounds and surrounding area is beautiful.

Stayed there for the third time for a single night stay. Property is amazing. Safe location. Rooms are okay. Stayed there 7-7-2026 in a double queen bed room with our two grandchildren. In the bathroom there was a lot of Mold on the ceiling and the walls. If we hadn’t already unpacked I would have asked for another room. Also the towel rack fell off the wall. I show Rick the night manager “ very nice man “ and he made a note of it. No apologies no nothing from Runny Y. I will look elsewhere for my next pass thru in 4 week. $300 a night !

Room could have been a little cleaner and the amount of items from past guests left/found in the room was minimal. Great place though for our wedding. Rehearsal dinner was great and worked well with some of us vegetarians and worked well with allergies. They couldnt promise some things for our wedding but the day came and everything that was questionable they actually came through and did.

The Running Y Ranch Resort was the most amazing, seamless, and beautiful venue we could have ever asked for. Our wedding planning felt effortless thanks to Liz and Jen, who guided us through every step with clear, thoughtful communication. The rooms were gorgeous, spotless, and incredibly comfortable—such a perfect place to relax and take everything in. We also loved dining at the Ruddy Duck Restaurant—the food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were well-crafted, elevated, and felt truly high-end. We treated the groomsmen to a round of golf and the bridesmaids to a spa day at Sandhill Spa—both were incredible and so relaxing the day before the wedding. The team went above and beyond, handling all the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, bar, dance floor, lighting—everything—so we could truly enjoy the moment. When we returned to our room, they surprised us with a thoughtful gift and food from the wedding, even including something for our pets, which meant so much to us. Running Y wasn’t just perfect—it was heartfelt, fun, and felt like being surrounded by friends. We’re so grateful and will absolutely be back for years to come. Thank you for making our day unforgettable.
