Came here the first nice day of 2026. Personally, I need to work on my golf game, but that's not the course's fault. My friend had a spot open up on his foursome tee time in the morning, so I went. I gotta say, the folks here were all nice. And the course was dang near immaculate considering all the rain we had leading into that day. I bet it was much better a couple weekends ago when it was 76 out and a couple days to dry of a little. Anyway, I will be back for sure!

Another course in the Portland/Salem area I have been wanting to try. I played here between Christmas & New Year, and with the weather this area had recently been exposed to, I thought the course was very dry. Great layout, and well maintained from tee to green. Challenging but not extremely difficult. Just a few elevation changes, and they weren't too wild. Front 9 played mostly end-to-end, and the back 9 had some holes that ran back-to-back with a couple oak groves between fairways & greens. They have a driving range and areas to chip & putt. Reasonably priced. Staff was pleasant & helpful. I would definitely play here again.

Meriwether National Golf Club was the perfect venue for our Pacific Bogey Club “Beers & Bogeys” event, and it delivered on every level. From the moment our crew rolled up, the vibe was exactly right — relaxed, welcoming, and unpretentious. That’s everything we look for when bringing a group of golfers together who are there to have a great time first and grind out a scorecard second. A special shoutout to Alex, who led the charge from start to finish. His energy, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm for making the event run smoothly made all the difference. The kind of person who just gets it — and it showed. The course itself is a gem. Tucked into the Tualatin Valley countryside, the pastoral setting along the Tualatin River gives you that rare feeling of being completely away from the city, even though you’re just 30 minutes from Portland. Tree-lined fairways, just enough water and bunkers to keep things interesting, and gorgeous rolling terrain made every hole feel like a moment. For a community golf event, the layout is ideal. Challenging enough that the good players stayed engaged, but approachable enough that newer golfers never felt out of place. That balance is hard to find, and Meriwether nails it. The clubhouse, pro shop, and restaurant added the perfect finishing touch — we capped the round exactly the way you’re supposed to: with good food, cold beers, and way too many stories about the ones that got away. If you’re planning a group outing, a scramble, or any kind of social golf event in the Portland/Hillsboro area, stop overthinking it. Meriwether is your spot. Ask for Alex — you won’t regret it. — Pacific Bogey Club

lots of fun at the DRIVING RANGE it's a great place they offer for the high schoolers to come there and practice their golf. The offer range time as well as they can have tournaments. I appreciate Mary whether they're doing the community, a great service

I used to love this course. Close to home, easy to get a tee time, very well priced… I wish I could still say all of that. Course conditions are good for now (it’s May and we’ve had very little rain), however it will definitely dry up very soon and this course is notorious for being dry. And by dry, I mean, like playing on concrete. They’ve definitely raised their prices, which I suppose is understandable with all the growth in Hillsboro. However, with the increased rates i would expect more. There’s a billboard saying they’re adding more covered spaces to the driving range and that’s great, but regardless. $100 for two people playing 9 holes… that’s bonkers. Anyone who rated this course five stars really needs to get out more. There’s much nicer courses in the area in the same price range. Not to mention, there’s no marshal here so expect to get held up by slow playing groups. Pretty common on this course. Played last weekend and there was a group of seven two groups in front of us. Can’t believe that’s even allowed, but again, no marshal. Might be the last time I play here. Too bad, cause it’s close to home and I do enjoy the course. I just think there’s far better value elsewhere. Pretty disappointed.
