Excellent little par 3. Perfect for kids and new golfers or even those that want to play a quick round. The course is nicely maintained, greens a little pitted from new players but still very playable. I love the little touches that make if cute like the playful wooden bear statues and encouraging phrases on the base of each pin.

The Children’s Course is an absolutely wonderful place for a celebration or event! The beautiful new building space overlooks the golf course, and was perfect for our catered event of 50 guests for my mom’s Celebration of Life! I worked alongside Denise Townsend on behalf of 1st Tee several years ago, and she is always amazing to work with. Thank you for everything!

Cashier couldn’t understand how to use the Groupon deals. There were six of us (3 adults and 3 juniors) We paid for two Groupon passes and were split into two tee times. We still ended up paying for four people on top of paying for the Groupon deal. The cashier couldn’t figure it out.

Great Place. The course is very very well kept. My dad is approaching 80 and not getting around well. We reserved a buggy, fantastic experience. 9 hole course with dual tees. Old growth trees, next to the river. Very spacious for a short course. This is a must play. Most tee’s you’re hitting a full wedge. The greens were so nice, not too difficult or fast. My daughter used to have lessons there years ago. I will be back. This facility is The First Tee of Oregon and specializes in teaching the game to kids. I donated some extra gear I had sitting in the garage. 10 stars

I was hesitant to review this place after my first visit because because it would have gotten a pretty poor review and at the end of the day this place and it's first tee programs are a huge asset to the golf community and the community as a whole. The first time I went it was in the winter and the course was covered in geese droppings with geese running around the course. I carried my 3 clubs and the club as well as myself and the kids were filthy after playing. The price for the quality at the time did not seem to be as good of a value as some of the other short courses because for 2 bucks more I could play at Kohl Creek in West linn and get to play par 4s and 5s or pay 15 and have a beautiful drive out to Frontier in Canby. I saw a Groupon that was 2 for 1 and decided to give it another chance and I'm glad I did. The course had far less goose droppings than I did in the winter. My buddy had his 3yo tag along and no one batted an eye. There were families everywhere as well as teens and tweens playing. When I got home I signed my son up for their summer program and he will get to play for free while doing that so I'll be playing with him a lot more at this course. I'll update my review with my sons experience of the first tee programs but they seem like a great affordable way to get kids into golf.
