I'm slow on this review. 8 of us were there in August 2025. Everything was amazing, as long as you worry about the cost when you get home. Bucket list course, so that's the only way to do it. My recommendations: Stay: Round Lake cabins were fantastic and they managed to get our 4 rooms side by side which was great. Request a ground floor room then your crew can hang out on the grass between rounds. Play: Play shorty's in the evening (2nd round of the day), with your entire group at once (played as an 8-some) and barefoot! Such a vibe! Eat: Get the Pastrami at Sheep's Ranch for lunch. Remember: Bring Chap Stick, my lips took a kicking from the wind.

Absolutely lives up to the hype! Our group had a great time at Bandon Dunes and got to experience all of the courses. It’s tough to pick a favorite but I shot my round on the original so I guess I’ll go with that one. I just hope I have the opportunity to come back before too long!

Brunch at Pacific Dunes was yummy! So many choices! Helper in the Pro Shop was a delight and she pointed out the 50% rack... always nice to find a deal. Beautiful day!

Even if you're not a golfer, you can enjoy some wonderful hiking trails and views on the property. If you are a golfer, bring the clubs (of course)! What an absolute gem! Multiple courses, restaurants, snack shops, and gift stores. I didn't get to play, amd it hurt. I'll be back as soon as I can with the clubs :)

As a woman golfer: This resort exceeded all expectations. I would return in a heartbeat with my boyfriend or a group of women, AND I’d feel great if my boyfriend did a boy’s trip here without me. I review golf courses from a woman’s perspective for social media and will use the same categories here: Welcoming to women: 10/10. While I was definitely the only woman under 50 I saw most of my stay (maybe 10 other women total over 3 days, including 2 caddies 😍) I was met with zero misogyny or staff being patronizing and actually felt SO welcomed and supported by every team member, caddie, and even other golfers! The comms director also reached out to me after a concern about some instagram comments from a troll on their page, which was dealt with expeditiously. They host women’s tournaments and would love to see more women on the course. Value for money: 10/10 - while expensive (~1200 for 2 tee times and one night stay) because VALUE was perfect. I would pay that again and again. PRISTINE course, views, and experience. And…pro tip…the practice area (including a 9 hole par 3!) were free! So I felt like I got multiple rounds in, honestly. Merch: 10/10. Great women’s selection and prices were…reasonable. About 1/3 the size of pebble’s shop but had everything I’d need. My visor was $30 and my zip up was $105. Expensive but high quality souvenirs I’ll wear a lot. I budgeted 250 and spent it all with glee. Food: 10/10 - we ate at Mckee’s for dinner and while the menu had no surprises, everything was elevated. Amazing wings, fries, salad, and GET THE RIBEYE BITE THINGS. The food at the turn (Italian wraps) also unexpectedly good. Carts: 0/10 because they have none, but 10/10 for an excellent 6 mile walk across GLORIOUS GREENS AND VIEWS! They have awesome pull carts so we absolutely loved walking this course. The guys we golfed with got a Caddie and he was great too. An option I might take next time. I was glad I had a portable charger because I took lots of video on the course. Range: 8/10 Great area but VERY busy in the AM so I took off points. Now, if you simply wait ~10 minutes a slot will open, and there are designated putting and chipping ranges to use til then. Also an entire par 3 course!! Plus there is a food truck here for brekkie or lunch. 2 bathroom stalls, mixed gender, and not the best smelling bc they obviously get quite a bit of use. Room: 9/10 Our room was so spacious and classy with a fireplace and we got one of the cheapest options. I’d love to go with a group and stay in a cabin next time. Rooms were not walkable to course but we had a rental so no issue. Golf: 20/10. The best maintained course I’ve seen. Super fun mix of pars. Ocean views. Open fairways. I only lost one ball. I also had my own tees (the orange) and I liked that they were far from the men because I didn’t get nervous being watched. Wildlife: 10/10 - deer, chipmunk, blue jays on course (revered/respected) and oh my gosh, the local area was incredible for viewing puffins and sea lions
