While the course itself continues to be in excellent shape year round, so continues the outright embarrassing customer service & treatment of its patrons. During our 4 hour and 13 minute walking round on a Tuesday, we were visited by the marshall twice. Both times, his approach was not friendly, it immediately was “need you guys to pick up the pace. You need to be in sight of the group in front of you.” The group behind us we never saw and found them later finishing 18 36 minutes after we had finished. 3 of my last 5 rounds at Langdon have been tainted due to marshall harassment. My friends and I were extremely disappointed and frustrated after spending $89 on green fees to be annoyed our entire round. Any chance of fun or enjoyment went out the window. After the round, I asked Grant in the pro shop what time he expects four walkers to finish their 18 hole round in, his response was “sub 4.” Good luck holding golfers to that pace and update your scorecard to reflect that.

This is a local favorite, it has a great menu with an all day happy hour menu on Sundays. The service is usually spot on. I took my 98 year old mom here for mother's day. We started with the Calamari on the happy hour menu. It was very well done and tasty. Our main course i will not mention. It was bland, even the beef wasn't seasoned. It came out luke warm so my mom took hers to go. The waitress never came to our table to ask how our meal was. She also never came back and filled my ice tea which was requested. My mom and I enjoy coming here. I am not saying we won't be back but...... we will not order the Beef Strogenoff.

Yes I sell homes in Canby as well, and it's even more fun to play in route to a listing appointment. The quality and condition of Langdon never disappoints.

Played Sunday and it took 5:30 minutes - waited on every single tee box the entire day. Played Tuesday morning with my two kids (13.5 and 15) indexes. Hole 5 was told to hurry up. Turned the corner at 2:20, slightly behind (I guess we shouldn’t have bought anything to drink:). Had to talk to the manager at the turn. Finished in 4:12. Card says to finish in 4:10. Moral of the story - DO NOT TAKE KIDS TO LANGDON THEY ARE NOT WELCOME. ESPECIALLY IF ONE IS A GIRL. You know it takes a little more time to drive to a different tee. AND 4:10 doesn’t not apply to weekday mornings or weekends. Here’s a suggestion - don’t have tee times if you don’t want people to pay and play. God it sucked.

Only used the driving range this trip but it was nice. I especially like that distances to target poles are posted at the mats. Many driving ranges don't show distances. Learning how far each club sends the ball is as important as hitting it straight. Great job Langdon Farms Golf!
