West course is always in great shape and my favorite. They do a great job with their Monday after 5 league and the staff are friendly. Best city course!

Well…the course is nice. It just would have been nice to know, before we paid to play, that they just punched the greens. At least offer a discount or something. Also, the marshal doesn’t really do anything. the marshal doesn’t really do anything to regulate there times and pace of play. Me and a friend played the east course Friday morning and were paired with 2 others. The two that were supposed to be paired with us chose to go before us, which was a father teaching his son to play. So we had to wait on them. The group in front of them (group of 5) let them eventually play through, but didn’t ask us if we wanted to play through (and the group of 5 were not good). We had to wait an average of 10-15 minutes between shots on the back nine. Not cool

Always in excellent condition. Come for the golf, stay for the cornbread

I played a round of golf and accidentally left my range finder in the cart. I called the same day, and the staff told me they had found it, put my name on it, and would hold it for me until I could pick it up. Because I live far away, it took me about two months to get back to the course. A week ago, I called again to confirm they still had it, and I was told they did. When I arrived today, I was suddenly told they couldn’t find it. I’m calling BS on this. If my range finder was found, tagged with my name, and supposedly being held for me, how does it just disappear? In my opinion, someone from the staff took it. There is no reasonable explanation for an item that was confirmed to be in their possession multiple times to simply vanish. Be careful if you leave anything behind here. I trusted that my property would be secure after being told it was found and saved for me, but that trust was clearly misplaced.

Best public course in OKC/Norman area that I’ve played. Played the west course about a two weeks after a snowstorm and it was in really good shape considering it was covered in snow not long ago. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes were soft, it was really impressive. The greens were fast as well, I’d say around a 10 on stimp meter. The layout was really fun and will definitely be playing here again.
