I have the most beautiful experience for my wedding reception at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club last August 2022. Shelly Beedle is the most professional wedding coordinator you can imagine. The venue offers an spectacular selection of options for all prices. They are also extremely flexible with options and take the time to meet your expectations. Responsible, friendly, and welcoming to everyone. The Good: Shelly makes a wedding a very easy experience. The Bad: Nothing I can count The Ugly: As an OU Golf Club, they do not offer any discounts to OU employee's. Nothing that Shelly has control on or affected our perfect wedding, but I feel is important to mention.

As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have officiated weddings in many beautiful settings over the years. What impressed me most about The OU Golf Club was that it offered far more than a beautiful backdrop. The grounds are certainly stunning. The sweeping views and beautifully maintained property create a wonderful setting for a wedding celebration. What stood out to me, however, was the level of care and support that surrounded the entire experience. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in creating a positive experience for the couple and their guests. $18 for a bucket of junk golf balls is insane. These golf balls with scuff your clubs, I recommend not using them at all. No wonder the range is empty. Also, no student discount is wild. First time at the range and definitely my last. What a joke!

I was able to attend the Compliance Solutions golf tournament this past weekend. Such a beautiful course and some amazing golfers. Had a great time at this event.

This golf course is a truly beautiful and well designed golf course. It’s extremely challenging from the tips. But playing the combination tees will offer some great risk/rewards shots. Suggestions don’t try to be a hero playing back. Have fun and enjoy this amazing course.
