Fairways/tee boxes are so bad. Only sprinklers are on the green. Learn to pick the ball clean in order to play here. Will not come back ever.

1 star for the 5-man policy on weekends and your disrespectful Marshal's. My Brother and I have played the Cimarron National course for the past 6 years and have never been disrespected or treated the way we were today. And to be fair, the course is in incredible condition right now , 4 stars, especially the greens. A few bad apples(fairways) here and there but you know what your signing up for (golfing in Guthrie). Chipping On hole 5 - we were confronted by one of your marshal's and he explained to us that there are no 5-mans on weekends - obviously I was upset and wanted explanation, but that didn't come. The rule in place is understandable. But what is inexcusable is not letting your marshal's make a judgement call. Our "5-man" had been waiting on the 4 man in front of us on all 3 Tee box's. We were not playing slow ( not complaining about group ahead either) . To add to this point, the course was WIDE open. There closest group was a 4-man still putting on the 3rd HOLE, the par 3. Your Marshal's were Police-like, probably deserves a raise, for enforcing a ruling that lack common sense and or judgement. We absolutely weren't affecting the pace of play in the negative. We were 100% stalked and escorted throughout the first 11 holes, like others in the reviews, until I personally walked up and spoke with him again and apologized for playing a 5-man ( On Literally Hole 3,4,5 we had to obviously stop) and the way I spoke to him . I thought this would be the perfect place for people to come and play a judgement free round of golf but seeing the way you think they can treat people, I will reluctantly stay away from your course and recommend others to do the same.

Played the Cimarron side, and it was actually good. I'm quite impressed with the price and the quality of the golf course. The course can be a little challenging cause a handful of holes have a tight fairway with water or trees. Makes it fun and challenging. Like the layout of the course. Can't wait to comeback to play the other side of the course

Cimarron National has 2 courses. Today we played Cimarron, played Aqua 2 years ago. The course is in decent shape and is very challenging. Water comes into play on several shots, there are doglegs that force layups and there are plenty of trees to steer clear of. The drawback of this course are the fairways. Just in poor condition mostly and in need of water or better turf management. Fix that and we have a course worth the $40 green fee. There are water stations all over, a midpoint restroom, ball washers and marking signs with hole distances. Very well done. The greens are in great shape and are unlike many courses in this region and they were mid pace, which is perfect for Oklahoma courses, tee boxes were good minus maybe 1 or 2 on the back nine and cart paths were in good shape. Again, great job CNGC! The clubhouse is very old and if they updated this? It would be hard not to play here more often. Over all, this course is a good place to come enjoy a nice round if you cannot get on in OKC or other nearby courses. Again, if the fairways were in better shape, the stars would easily go to a 4 for me. Well done, Cimarron. You have a great course!

First time playing here and we had a great time. Easy to book a tee time. Pace of play was perfect for us. We will for sure be back.
