Weekend Rate: $46.90 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1️⃣Course Condition 🌳🪾 Overall, the entire course was in good shape. Tee boxes on half the holes were pretty stubborn. Fairways were pretty good overall and despite the heat there were great lies all day. The greens are very small as you’d expect from a state park setup and were better than most city courses. 2️⃣Price💰💰 This is where LM separates itself from other courses within the region. It is perfectly priced for the totality. By comparison, Chickasaw Point is $89.00- which is about $40.00 overpriced. Falconhead is priced at $58.00. The value of LM and FH are almost the same overall, however- Lake Murray is perfectly priced especially if you were to pick it up and place it within the OKC or Tulsa metro and consider what it’s worth compared to all those city courses. You get a gas cart so brace yourself! 🛺 3️⃣Layout 🌎 The layout has a few doglegs like 1 and 10 and it’s a great track overall. Only 2 holes have water to somewhat negotiate ,1 and 10. The beginning hole dogleg is a fun test to start your day. Hit it to the corner and you have an uphill shot to a tough green. Don’t go long-over or you’ll pay! After that it’s a very fair layout and is over all a pretty nice setting about a mile from Lake Murray. Ball washers need to be replaced; signage needs to be vastly updated and even displayed as I had some holes with no markings. Cart paths were broken in many places. Some portable outhouses on course were placed for relief. 4️⃣Clubhouse/Pro-Shop🏡🧢 The clubhouse is what you expect for a state park and has a veranda for an after-round experience. The building is a vast upgrade from most clubhouses and there is a small selection of gear to choose from. Inside you have a beverage area and a little dining section as well. The outside area is a little unkept and needs some attention. 5️⃣Staff/Vibe 🤝 Pro shop team was very nice, and on the day overall the people I ran into were friendly. There was no cart girl, but I was not checked for my cooler, so all was good. 🤭🤭🤭🤭 Overall, state park golf in Oklahoma is missing the mark with maintenance and could really up its game with a little attention. The golf courses are all unique in their own way, but when it comes to general upkeep the state falls short. Lake Murray is a destination stop with the nearby lake and the amenities they offer. And it could be a 4-star course if the overall care was applied. I loved the layout and would highly recommend playing here. A great weekend could include LM and a trip over to Falconhead to play another great course - and if I’m these two courses I’m putting together a package deal of some kind.

Overall, worth the drive from Texas up there to play a round. Great staff, nice course. Trees are everywhere so be ware for beginners but nice course overall. Also side note there is some patches of poison ivy around the trees. Carts are a little jankey with the breaks but as long as you are careful it's fine. Marshal was out and about and is a lovely gentleman. Clubhouse staff inside was fantastic.

Really nice course. Played in late April and they had a lot of rain but the course was in great shape. Staff were very nice and helpful since the tourney was running late and ran into my tee time. I will be going back to play again.

Robert, checked us in early this morning what a nice gentleman. Very informative and professional. The course is absolutely beautiful T-boxes, fairways and greens well kept up. I like that I can push my tee into t-box area easily, unlike other courses. Cart path is better than some other courses as well. Will be back very soon. Thank you Lake Murray Golf Course

Enjoyed playing 18 at Lake Murray today. It’s a demanding course and if your skill level is up to the challenge, your sure to enjoy it. There is quite a bit of difference in the hole layouts and no sand traps. I originally had thought of walking and was glad I took a cart. Nice to see the maintenance crew hard at work in different areas. Very nice pro shop and merchandise selection.
