$40 for a cart with a wet seat and a day in a swamp. everything was so soggy. I lost balls that I hit in the fairway just bacause the sunk in the mud n vanished. The course has potential. I just spent a lot for a bad time IMO

For a cheap 9 hole course you don't expect perfection; however having 2 separate golf carts die while on the course isn't acceptable. Also they were treating the greens during normal business hours so you had to play around the grounds crew.

Enjoyed playing there, only a 9 hole course, very affordable. Will play there again!!!

Update 6/28/25: the course is in great shape. For Little Scioto, the greens are holding and rolling very well. I highly recommend giving it go ASAP! I'm writing this review in March so take that into consideration. I love playing here. It was pretty good for March in Ohio. White grass fairways but green greens that weren't too bumpy. They will smooth out as Ohio gets more into spring. Little Scioto is a fun 9-hole course. $9 walks 9. It's not too easy while being a shorter course. Most players are welcoming so you rarely play alone even if you come by yourself. I definitely recommend giving it a go. Edit with added photos May 2026: The course is looking nice!! The greens are rolling nicely and the fairways are mostly green. Very quick play so far this year. I love the course because it feels like home. I always see someone I know. Highly recommend for a quick 9!

It is exactly what you would expect for the cheap price. Golfing off regular grass and no "fairways" really, the grass is uniform on most holes so minimal "rough." The greens over the hill can be absolutely atrocious where you cant even putt from certain directions at times. But for the price, it is a good deal if you arent a pro and are just going for fun. The owner is a great guy and has always been super welcoming. If you are trying to golf without spending an arm and a leg, this is the place to do it.
