Wapakoneta Country Club opened in the early 1950s and still feels like mid century Ohio golf: simple lines, good turf, and friendly pace. Its 9 holes play to par 36 with a handful of driveable opportunities depending on wind and tee choice. The clubhouse patio is a favorite for watching approaches into the finishing green. Members appreciate how quickly they can fit in nine after work or double around for eighteen on weekends. As a local gathering spot, it balances family activities with plenty of serious golf.

It would be nice to have 18 holes instead of 9, but it is still a very nice little course.

We actually used this area as our wedding venue. It was so great and turned out awesome for us. The only issue was that the AC wasn't working properly so it got very hot, but since we could use the deck, we just had the dance floor outside (which worked out really well). Loved it!

Good course. It's only 9 holes so you play twice from different tee boxes for the front and the back nine. As well kept as it is I would like to see a full 18 holes there.

First outing of the year for me. Beautiful course and well maintained by what I could see. Some pretty tough greens as well. I look forward to coming again
