This golf course is in the middle of nowhere but is a well maintained course with almost perfect greens that are not all tricked out. Their fairways were lacking in grass in a number of spots but Ohio has had an excessive amount of rain this year so I did not downgrade them for this. Every hole is different and many are memorable. On Wednesday and Thursday they have an add on hot buffet for only $7. Excellent food in a restaurant type atmosphere. Very friendly folks working at the pro shop. No snooty attitude here. They are real folks. Note in the photos the well done carvings that used to be a tree. Buffet now gone but the course has actually improved so now five stars. The greens were perfect, fairways were well mowed and balls were mostly findable in the rough. Every hole was different so lots of variety.

Normally I would leave a great review about this course, but today I had scheduled a tee time for 7am this morning for 4 people to play 18 with cart.(Which i scheduled 2 or 3 months ago.) When I got there I was told that we couldn't golf, due to there being a golf outing. The guy was kinda rude about it and I showed him the tee time that I had screen shoted. So I had to go to a different course which cost me a lot more money to play with my family.

Very possibly the fastest greens I've played on. Another course an hour away that i can't wait to go back to

A wonderful course hidden in rural Ohio. Was staying in the Wooster area and wanted to get in a quick round. I was pleasantly surprised with The Pines. Everything is in good shape, and several holes are beautiful-yet-deceptively difficult. There's even a nice little clubhouse at the turn. I've got it marked in my maps as a "favorite" now. I'll be back!
