Beautiful golf course just outside of Mount Vernon. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Wide open on the back nine. Highly recommend this course if you are in the area.

Worst golf course in Ohio. Golfer beware. Horrible tee boxes, greens are chewed up , no ranger. Sprinkler heads built into the greens. Extremely slow play on this Country Cow Pasture. This course is not what it was 20 years ago, it is now a zero in my book.

Friendly staff, good layout, and a very enjoyable 27 holes of golf

Great value for senior golfers if you pay cash for 18 holes & cart…$27. Greens were in pretty good shape for early season golf. Ball rolled a little slow. Great variety of green undulation & pin placement to challenge your putting skills. On average, greens were small, so aim for mid-green for safe play. There are a few slightly tiered greens, so beware & get your ball on the right level. Fairway rough (grass) was slightly higher than I expected. No worries, just play one club less to allow for the grass catching your club head on the swing. Fairways are forgiving & seem to be roomy, but beware of several dogleg holes that require your approach to be on the correct side as you head to the green. Large old growth pines are not forgiving along this course (especially front nine) & can get in your way if you get too far off the fairway. A recovery shot from underneath these pines will cost you strokes. All in all, great course, friendly staff & play was not rushed. Will definitely play here again. Enjoy this hidden gem.

I was in town from Wisconsin on a business trip and decided to sneak in a round here because it was close by—ended up being the best decision of the week. The course is in incredible shape, really fun to play, and the staff treated me like I’d been coming there for years. No joke I loved it so much I’m already thinking about planning a trip back just to play here again. Total gem.
