I'm newer to golf, but this has been one of my favorite so far. Such a beautiful and challenging course. I honestly wished I'd gotten more pictures. The sandwich we had was delicious with friendly wrlcoming service. I will say they seem to be pretty strict on the no outside beverage thing, the course could use a little better upkeep, and the price is a little steep, but we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

First time for our foursome. Paid 59$ on a Friday and honestly from the service right out of the car was excellent. A woman brought us carts right to our vehicle, the young lady inside was very nice, also had a beverage cart running around the course as well. The course was in excellent condition. Tees were soft and full of grass, fairways striped up nicely and very lush. Greens were in amazing shape. Tad slow but rolled true. Only complaint I could think of is that it has a bit of clover on the course. But that is nitpicking it. I’ll back for sure! Keep up the excellent work!

Nice layout. Unforgiving. Horrible and somewhat dangerous cart paths. 16 out of 18 pins were between 1.5 and 3 paces on the green, pictures are from holes 16, 17, and 18 for reference. Nice service inside.

My son and I stopped by the course to enjoy a quick 9 holes before dark. We arrived at 6:40, fully understanding that we’d be finished by 8, well before closing. Unfortunately, we were told the last tee time was 6:20 and that no exceptions would be made—even if we paid full price for fewer holes. In this day and age, it’s disappointing that flexibility isn’t offered for golfers willing to respect the course hours. It would be great to see them adapt their policy to accommodate players within reason.

I haven't been to HHGC since 2019, and being brutally honest it used to be rough. My last memory of the course was tee boxes with no grass, unable to tell the difference between fairway and rough, weeds everywhere, bunkers abandoned, and horrible greens. I heard there was new ownership and I love the area so I wanted to see if any improvements had been made. The improvement the staff has made over the last 6 years is night and day! Greens were in excellent shape, fairways were stripped beautifully and in good health overall. Bunkers were raked nicely with good sand. Most of the tee boxes were back to normal condition. There are still some struggles in the heavily wooded areas with thinning turf, but it is hard to criticize given the difficulty of maintaining those areas. The course has a beautifully scenic property and it is good to see condition starting to showcase it. The staff should be extrmely proud of the work they have done so far. I hope there are more improvements to come. The course could really use a tree removal program around tees and grees especially. Removing a few would help turf health in difficult areas and open up some beautiful vistas. Additionally, a few old bunkers could be added back in and some of the greens could be restored to their original size to allow for more interesting pin positions. Overall a massive improvement. I will be back!
