We love playing Armco. Don't listen to the other negative reviews. Our entire golf group loves coming here. For a VERY low cost public course the fairways and greens are IMMACULATE. The greens are some of the fastest in the area. It is a great way to work on your irons and short game. Period. It's not meant to be Augusta or Muirfield.... For a par 3 course and low fees what more do u want.

Busy golf course with nice staff (don’t know what other people’s experienced here, never faced a male Karen). Environment is pretty too, next to a small lake. Prices are ok. Even a free EV charging point to charge up your car during the golf session. Only downside is that some tees are in a rough shape due to frequent usage and the driving range is not too big, but overall my favorite golf course.

One of the best kept secrets in the area. Not a really long course but very well maintained. Play is generally pretty quick. Nice course to walk. Nice staff.

I'd rate the course a 3.5. Been playing Armco for 10+ years. One of the few walkable courses left in the area. Par 57; very short course with a few challenging holes. Course does not accept tee times; best to arrive early to avoid leagues and slow golfers. Course is generally kept in pretty good condition. Clubhouse workers usually are respectful, and don't bother me; they also don't always follow proper golf etiquette. As an example, they will request early groups to start on the back nine; when making the turn, we will find that groups will have been started on the front, thus forcing early groups to wait. During the summer, expect one of the nines to be closed early for the "daily" womens leagues. Groundskeepers generally are hard working, but one or two have been known to be "snippy" to golfers. All in all, Armco is a decent, inexpensive course, for golfers looking to walk. 2025 Update: I'd rate Armco today a 3.75. Could be better, if the tees were not all torn up; currently, most tees are set on a uneven, sloping part of the tee. Leagues are scheduled every morning beginning around 8:30, and outings are generally scheduled every Saturday and Sunday. Best to call before coming out to play. Fairways and Greens are in very good shape. Armco is a good walkable course that is best visited in the morning. Clubhouse employees have to do a better job of stopping players from cutting in front of other players that are completing their first nine. I recommend Armco, but the course still has its issues.
